The Arizona ACDIS chapter now have a Gmail account: AzACDIS@gmail.com

Going forward, the local chapter roster provided by ACDIS will be our source of truth for membership. To continue to receive communications regarding Arizona ACDIS activities and offerings, please ensure you complete the “online ACDIS local chapter roster" (liked below). You do not need to be a national ACDIS member to be a member of the local chapter. If you have completed this in the past, thank you - please consider revisiting it if you need to update any information.

• The Arizona ACDIS chapter met Friday, February 16, 2024, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., via webinar. The program was titled, “Dissecting a DRG Downgrade Denial,” presented by Kathy Seward, MD, and Ashwin Parekh, MD.
• The Arizona ACDIS chapter met Friday, November 10, 2023, 12–1:15 p.m., via webinar. The program was titled, “COUGH to Determine a Gram-Negative Pneumonia,” presented by Adriana Cecchini, MSN, RN, CIC. 
• The Arizona ACDIS chapter met Friday, May 19, 2023, 12–1:15 p.m., via webinar. The program was titled, “Ulcers, Ulcers Everywhere,” and was presented by T. Nichole Baca, BS, BSN, RN, CCDS.
• The Arizona ACDIS chapter met Friday, February 17, 12-1:15 p.m., via webinar. The program was titled, “Denial Ain’t Just a River in Egypt: CDI Practice Advancement” and was presented by ACDIS CDI Education Specialist Kimberly Connor, BSN, CCDS, CCDS-O.

• The Arizona ACDIS chapter met Friday, April 22, 12-1:30 p.m., via webinar. The topic was patient safety indicators presented by Christel Kemble.
• The Arizona ACDIS chapter met Friday, February 25. The topic was ethics in CDI presented by Dawn Valdez.
