Note: Local chapters are accepting nominations for leadership positions. Congrats to the ACDIS Evergreen Chapter (Washington/Oregon) on its fall meeting. Meeting host Sarabhjit “Sara” Kaur of Skagit Valley Hospital says the group gathered nearly 30 people including Nora Tiffany who made the trip all the way from Spokane along with delegates from University of Washington Medical Center, Swedish, Seattle Children’s, Island Hospital, Providence in Everett and Evergreen Medical. Additional thanks go out to the group's guest speaker Joni Dion from Berkley Research Group, who traveled to the meeting following a successful presentation at AHIMA in New Orleans.

Maryland
The Maryland ACDIS Chapter meets Friday, October 16, 12:30 p.m., featuring an “ICD-10 Survival Pot Luck” luncheon and raffle. RSVP to jossik@holycrosshealth.org.

Arizona
The Arizona ACDIS Chapter meets Wednesday, October 21, 5:30 p.m., at Mayo Hospital in Phoenix. Bonnie Peters, CCDS, CDIP, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, of Berkeley Research Group, LLC, will discuss ICD-10-CM/PCS documentation challenges. New York
The next quarterly Suffolk County Long Island ACDIS chapter meeting was postponed until Thursday, November 5, 1-3 p.m., at CHS Melville Headquarters. For information, email scacdis@gmail.com or call Patti McKenna at 631-447-3001.

The New York City Five Boroughs (NYC5B) Chapter also meets Thursday, November 5, at 5:15 p.m., at NYU Lutheran Medical Center Auditorium in Brooklyn. John Zelem, MD, FACS, Vice President, Compliance and Physician Education for Executive Health Resources will present “Engaging Physicians for Improving Documentation.”.

Indiana
The Central Indiana ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, November 11, 10-11:30 a.m., at Elkhart General Hospital. RSVP to Angie Green agreen11@iuhealth.org

Pennsylvania
