As healthcare organizations seek to extend their reach, in terms of both geography and service scope, remote work is becoming a growing reality in CDI. Of respondents to ACDIS’ 2019 CDI Week Industry Overview Survey, 61.03% are part of teams that allow CDI specialists to work virtually in some capacity. That’s a 15% increase over those who reported this perk in the previous year’s survey.
