ACDIS update: ‘Where will your professional journey take you?’ ACDIS’ CDI Summer Retreat

In less than a month, more than two dozen speakers will join us on the ACDIS virtual stage for our latest education and networking event “ACDIS Online: CDI Summer Retreat.” True to the purpose of a retreat, the 2021 volunteer events committee sought to pull forward sessions focused on how to develop achievable goals personally and professionally.

For the first time, we’ll have two keynote speakers—Bruce Pulver who’ll present “How a ‘No Quit’ mindset drives outcomes and how to develop yours,” and Joan Peterson who’ll present “Leading Change.” In our opening panel discussion, participants will join the conversation to see how several, very different individuals got their start in the CDI profession and where their CDI journey took them. Participants can choose from sessions in two different tracks and have the opportunity to watch the sessions they may have missed for an additional 60 days.

With nearly a dozen continuing education credits for the CCDS, ANCC, AHIMA, and more, the three-day event could prove the be the cornerstone of participants ongoing education efforts for this year, and beyond.
