ACDIS update: 2020 Conference canceled due to COVID-19 concerns
ACDIS has made the difficult decision to cancel our 13th annual ACDIS conference. Originally scheduled to take place May 5-8, 2020, at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, we had hoped to reschedule our flagship program to the fall. However, the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic has caused us to rethink that decision.
We know that thousands of CDI professionals nationwide look forward to this event, and the decision to cancel was not made lightly. Ultimately the health, safety, and well-being of our members, staff, exhibitors, faculty, and other stakeholders are our highest priority, and led to our decision to cancel.
If you are currently registered to attend the 2020 conference, our customer service team will be contacting you in the coming days to assist you with a wide range of options.
Education remains an integral mission of ACDIS. CDI professionals depend on us to provide continued education, peer-to-peer networking, and best practice to meet their professional needs. We are excited about the wide range of virtual events we’re planning this summer and fall, starting with Staying Engaged: ACDIS Presents Virtual Education & Community.
I would like to thank you for your commitment to ACDIS and the CDI profession, and for playing an important role in the delivery of our nation’s healthcare. We hope you and your families remain safe in this unprecedented time. We look forward to many virtual engagements and meet-ups this year, and a comeback in 2021 like you’ve never seen!
