Guidelines for Achieving a Compliant Query Practice was produced through the joint effort of ACDIS and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). Both associations collaborated on the creation of this practice brief and approved its contents, and as such it represents the recommended industry standard for provider queries.
Following its 2022 publication, the committee realized the need for clarification regarding denial trends and queries. An addendum has been added to the end of the publication regarding this topic.
