Physician response times to queries varies from organization to organization. Some facilities allow a full month for physicians to respond to a query before triggering an escalation policy, while others give physicians a short 24 hours.
The latest ACDIS poll question seeks to establish a baseline average for escalation policy timelines and asks respondents to share the number of days they give their physicians to respond to queries.
