ACDIS update: Applications open for three ACDIS boards and committees until February 10
With January coming to a close, there are just two weeks before the call for ACDIS board and committee volunteers closes. Don’t let the opportunity pass you by to make an impact on ACDIS membership and the CDI community at large, as well as strengthen your own personal and professional development!
Applications are open till Friday, February 10 for the ACDIS Advisory Board, the Chapter Advisory Board, and the Forms & Tools Committee. Check out where you might make find the most fulfillment in serving your community:
- ACDIS Advisory Board members provide leadership, expertise, and written guidance for the ACDIS membership and CDI community at large (most recently contributing to the 2023 update to the ACDIS/AHIMA Guidelines for Achieving a Compliant Query Practice). - Chapter Advisory Board members serve as liaisons between local chapter leaders and ACDIS national administration. Its members participate on chapter leadership conference calls, promoting best practice and providing guidance to leaders across the country. They make annual updates to the “Leadership Toolkit” and answer questions from ACDIS local chapter and networking group volunteers as needed. - Forms & Tools Committee members review and evaluate the publication merit of field-sourced CDI materials in the Resource Library for accuracy, compliance, relevance, and effectiveness. They also contribute materials themselves for committee review, provide insight into current industry trends, and help evaluate opportunities and gaps in the library’s current contents.
