ACDIS update: Call for Journal submissions on CDI expansion topics

CDI Strategies - Volume 16, Issue 28

With our newest July/August issue published, ACDIS is gearing up for the next edition of the CDI Journal. When considering all the important topics possible to cover this year, the growth of CDI into various new parts of the healthcare system couldn’t be overlooked. That’s why we’ll be filling our September/October edition with articles that provide knowledge and advice on CDI expansion and outpatient settings in particular.

This is where the wonderful members of the CDI community come in. Any interested person who would like to contribute to the journal on this subject is highly encouraged to reach out! Submissions can be sent to us up until Monday, August 1 for consideration in this upcoming edition. If you’d like to write but would like more direction, we’re especially interested in the following topics:

  • Outpatient
  • Psych
  • Home health
  • Long-term care

Your submission should include your original piece of writing (between 700-1,500 words long), a short professional bio, and a headshot, which you can then submit to ACDIS Associate Editorial Director Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org) and Associate Editor Jess Fluegel (jfluegel@acdis.org) by August 1. After that point, the ACDIS editorial staff will be happy to help you edit and adjust the article for publication. If you have an idea for an article, but would like some editorial guidance to start you on the right foot, contact Archibald and Fluegel too.

Articles selected for publication in the CDI Journal will be awarded ACDIS CEUs on a 0.5 CEUs per 350 published words basis.

If you run out of time, feel free to reach out still and we’ll be happy to help you find a good place for your article. We look forward to reading your submissions!
