ACDIS update: Does your CDI department participate in rounds?

Only 18% of CDI professionals participate in daily rounds, according to the preliminary ACDIS poll results. Another 18% participate in intermittent rounds, 11% have discontinued rounding, and 51% do not participate in rounds and have not in the past.

In the early years of CDI, rounding was a hallmark of what it meant to be a CDI specialist, but as programs matured and staff members moved more and more to remote work, those rounds began to fade into the past.
