ACDIS update: New ACDIS Podcast format, upcoming topics

Loyal ACDIS Podcast listeners can expect some new voices and slight program changes coming soon!

The show remains roughly 30 minutes long and will be broadcast live every other Wednesday. Recorded episodes will be available on the ACDIS website and the podcast feed, so you can catch up on past episodes. Additionally, each show continues to focus on bringing you advice and expertise from CDI professionals about relevant topics within the profession and greater industry.

So, what’s changing? The ACDIS team members will rotate hosting duties, bringing you closer to their individual spheres of influence based on their unique roles. For example, if the show is hosted by Associate Editorial Director Linnea Archibald, listeners may hear from an ACDIS Leadership Council member about a topic pertaining to leaders in CDI. The ACDIS team will come together as a group to host “ACDIS Happy Hour” shows at the end of each rotation “cycle,” sharing what the organization is up to and discuss any emerging topics in the profession.

The format of the show will remain mostly unchanged, with some updates to heighten the production value, making it more enjoyable to listen to via your favorite podcast app. Additionally, we’ll periodically put out a list of upcoming topics and invite listeners to respond to advance polls or submit questions that can be worked into our conversation with the guests.
