ACDIS update: Share your resources, help the ACDIS community!

CDI Strategies - Volume 17, Issue 51

I get by with a little help from my friends – The Beatles

And don’t we know that to be true: so, we’d like to ask for a bit of help.

The ACDIS Resource Library Committee is looking for new and helpful sample resources to review! By this, we mean the committee is looking for resources that you or your organization has created for your department. Resources submitted to the committee will be reviewed for compliance and utility and then published (with appropriate attribution to the contributor) in the ACDIS Resource Library to help other members develop their programs.

In particular, we are looking for the following types of resources:

  • Job descriptions: The committee is seeking submissions with clear indices of qualification, like preferred credentials, desired educational backgrounds, managerial experience, etc. We also like to see submissions across a range of CDI roles. Examples would include job descriptions for CDI managers, supervisors, physician advisors, and CDI specialists among others.
  • Policies and procedures: The committee is seeking submissions that outline successful policies, procedures, and protocols in CDI departments. Examples would include sample remote policies, appeal letters, clinical definitions, and queries among others.
  • Educational materials: The committee is seeking submissions that provide up-to-date information regarding best CDI practices and information. Examples would include sample PowerPoints, fact sheets, tip sheets, and tip cards among others.

If you have any resources you would like to share, please email Associate Editor Joshua Raposa at jraposa@acdis.org, or email the whole team at info@acdis.org.
