ACDIS update: Sign up for the ACDIS PRO demonstration on November 10

Join us for a demonstration of ACDIS PRO next Thursday, November 10, 3-4 p.m., and learn about this interactive and customizable online tool that is perfect for both new and experienced CDI professionals’ day-to-day responsibilities! Karla Accorto, ACDIS editor and product coordinator, and Laurie Prescott, ACDIS interim director and CDI education director, will demonstrate how quickly users can look up the latest clinical definitions, diagnostic criteria, treatment protocols, coding considerations, and critical thinking tips for over 90 clinical conditions.

The demonstration will also cover ACDIS PRO’s newest feature, which provides users with access to the information needed to properly report patient safety indicators (PSI) in the Patient Safety and Adverse Events Composite (PSI 90). The tool also helps CDI professionals to identify exclusions that would remove an encounter from a PSI, resulting in a positive impact on their organizations’ reimbursement rates.
