ACDIS update: Speak on your best CDI outpatient topic and attend the virtual event free!

ACDIS is looking for speakers to present for our ACDIS Online: CDI Symposium for Outpatient Efforts three-day virtual conference, held December 6-8, 2022. This event will feature unparalleled educational tracks focusing on all the expertise surrounding outpatient settings, including the unique policies and procedures, CDI staffing structures, and query processes which all can look very different than traditional inpatient CDI efforts.

What is the benefit for you? Being a speaker at an ACDIS event offers many opportunities to advance your professional development, share your knowledge, and give back to the profession. It gives you the opportunity to stand in front of a podium, offer your perspective, and hone your presentation skills, whether you’re new or a veteran speaker. Perhaps most notably, all speakers receive free admission to the rest of the event—you could even collaborate with a colleague, and both get in free! (Only two speakers total for each session will receive complimentary registration.)

Presentations should be approximately 45 minutes, leaving 15 minutes in the session for a Q&A portion. You may submit for more than one session but must complete a separate form for each submission. If you are applying with a co-speaker(s), make sure to have their contact information at hand to submit during the application as well.

To apply, please submit a complete proposal using proper letter/sentence casing, an up-to-date biography, and all the contact information asked for in the form so that we can reach you. We also advise that you include a draft of your slide presentation, if possible, to increase your chances of being selected (this may be revised later). ACDIS is accepting applications for presentations for both the 2023 ACDIS national conference and our December outpatient virtual event for the next two weeks, the deadline for consideration being August 19, 2022! From there, the ACDIS Events Committee and staff will review all submissions and contact you as soon as possible.
