ACDIS update: Still time to respond to the 2022 Salary Survey, plus a sneak peek at early results

CDI Strategies - Volume 16, Issue 47

Early results from the 2022 CDI Salary Survey show no signs that the industry is cooling after the in hiring and raises spikes seen in last year’s survey results. According to the early 2022 results, nearly 51% of respondents plan to hire new staff members in the next 12 months, up nearly two percentage points from 2021. Additionally, CDI specialists are in the highest demand according to respondents, as nearly 90% of those planning to hire say they plan to hire for specialist positions—good news for those looking to enter the profession for the first time.

Perhaps most notably, the rate of raises is up more than seven percentage points from 2021, soaring to 82.59%. More than half of current respondents said they haven’t experienced a reduction in any benefits or compensation in the last 12 months either.

While these results indicate that the CDI industry is continuing to boom, we want to hear from more CDI professionals to get the best possible view of the industry possible. The survey closes at 11:59 p.m. eastern on Monday, October 31, and results will be shared with the ACDIS membership in early 2023.

Survey answers will remain anonymous, and the results will be shared in aggregate, so please know we take your privacy on this sensitive topic very seriously.
