ACDIS update: Thanks for joining us virtually

Last Friday afternoon marked the completion of the first ever virtual ACDIS event, Staying Engaged: ACDIS Presents Virtual Education and Community. Attendees kicked off the event listening to a special, live episode of the ACDIS Podcast. There were an abundance of educational sessions, such as “CDI Pertinent Coding Clinic Updates,” “Clinical Guidelines: Your Ace in the Hole,” and “let’s Work from Home! Transitioning Your CDI Team from Onsite to Remote”—just to name a few!

There were networking sessions such as the virtual gala, a scavenger hunt, and daily trivia to allow attendees to connect with each other even while remote. Attendees and staff connected virtually using our traditional conference app and shared tips, tricks, and photos of work-from-home stations, pets, kids, coffee, and snacks.

All around, the event was an even bigger success than any of us at ACDIS could have ever hoped. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for making our first virtual event a success.
