ACDIS update: Volunteer for an ACDIS board or committee and help build the CDI community

CDI Strategies - Volume 13, Issue 1

ACDIS is built by many hands outside of the full-time administrative team. While in years past, we’ve put out individual calls for our ACDIS boards and committees, this year we’re trying something a little different: We’re calling for volunteers for multiple committees at once. This will allow members to review all volunteer options and apply to the one best suited to your expertise and interests.

All applications are due by Friday, January 25. Below are the boards and committees currently seeking volunteers, please visit the ACDIS website and review the obligations, expected time commitment, and scope of work for more information.

  • The ACDIS Advisory Board: Provides leadership, expertise, and an industry voice for the ACDIS membership.
  • ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI Committee: Selects all speakers and sessions for the 2019 ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI event.
  • Chapter Advisory Board: Serves as liaisons between local chapter leaders and ACDIS national administration by participating on chapter leadership conference calls, promoting best practice, and providing guidance to leaders across the country.
  • CCDS Certification Committee: Maintains and updates the CCDS Certification Program, including the exam and its prerequisites.

To apply for any of these committees, click here and fill out the requested information by Friday, January 25.

We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your willingness to serve ACDIS and the broader CDI community!
