ACDIS update: Write for the September/October edition of the CDI Journal!
Calling all writers and educators for our September/October edition of the CDI Journal! We received an incredible number of submissions for the July/August edition and we’d love to see the enthusiasm continue!
This year, our fall edition will feature articles on the theme of “back to school basics.”
With so much expansion and new niches and opportunities in the CDI field, we often dedicate multiple editions of the CDI Journal each year to specific topics that can help ACDIS members get a scope of the industry and unique expert advice (check out our May/June edition all about collaboration and engagement!). But it’s always important to get back to the bread and butter of CDI and review the foundational knowledge all CDI professionals should gain and keep up on as times change and the industry evolves. If you have experience, stories, and/or advice to share on CDI basics like how to write a query, engage with providers, develop a CDI workflow, or anything else under the “basics” heading, please share your knowledge with the ACDIS community!
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Our Journal articles tend to be within the range of 750-1,500 words and articles selected for publication in the CDI Journal will be awarded ACDIS CEUs on a 0.5 CEUs per 350 published words basis.
We welcome any topic within the theme of CDI back to school basics, and we would love to have you submit!
To submit an article for the CDI Journal, send your idea or draft to ACDIS Associate Editorial Director Linnea Archibald (linnea.archibald@hcpro.com) and Associate Editor Jess Fluegel (jess.fluegel@hcpro.com) by August 1.
