Conference corner: Submit your ACDIS 2020 speaker application by Friday!

CDI Strategies - Volume 13, Issue 37

Time’s running out to submit an application to present at the 2020 ACDIS conference. The extended deadline closes this Friday, September 13.

Last year an astounding 98.9% of attendees said they’d recommend the event to their colleagues and that networking and learning from others were the some of the reasons why. Over and over, attendees said they obtained information from speakers they planned to implement in their programs or everyday CDI practices.

The reason for such success comes from the ACDIS community’s willingness to share their stories on the ACDIS stage, to share the thorny pricks of trials-and-errors that brought their CDI efforts to the next level so their colleagues might accomplish similar success albeit without the thorns.

So, now is its time for you to put your own ideas, program enhancements, research projects, physician education tips, and collaborative processes forward. Connect with colleagues and review the list of suggested sessions and tracks from the Conference Committee. ACDIS encourages those working in coding, quality, and other related fields to consider applying, as well. While ACDIS can’t guarantee that any particular proposals will be accepted, we look forward to reviewing a wide range of ideas from the CDI community.

As a reminder, two selected speakers per session will get complimentary admission to the conference which takes place May 5-8 in Las Vegas.
