Conference corner: Time is running out to submit an ACDIS poster, nominations for an ACDIS Achievement Award

CDI Strategies - Volume 18, Issue 55

Perhaps the best part of the ACDIS conference each year is the many ways CDI professionals can share and celebrate each other’s successes. Speaking at the conference may be the most popular option, but if your speaking proposal wasn’t chosen or you’d rather share insights in a more one-on-one fashion, you also have the opportunity to apply to present an ACDIS poster by Tuesday, December 31, 2024!

Posters detail an innovative project, newly established protocol, or successful educational outreach at the creator's organization, and allow creators to inspire the CDI community with what their team or organization has accomplished. Selected poster creators also receive $200 off conference admission and 4 CEUs for each creator that attends the conference.

If you’d like a sense for what posters have been accepted in the past, here are a few titles from previous years:

  • Cerebral Edema and Compression: A Comprehensive Review From a Documentation Focused Perspective
  • Engaging Physicians With a Remote Work Force
  • The Power of Collaboration, Innovation and Engagement: Building a CDI Program
  • Utilizing Social Determinants of Health and Clinical Document Integrity to Improve Patient Outcomes
  • Core Competencies in Risk Adjustment for the Ambulatory Setting
  • Meeting Leadership and Clinical Education Needs in a Remote Work Environment

Another way we highlight CDI successes during the conference is by holding the ACDIS Achievement Awards. This year, ACDIS is offering five different awards for outstanding CDI achievement and you can submit your nomination for an individual or organization until Tuesday, December 31 as well. The nomination process is quick and easy to complete and can be accessed here!

If you have any questions, please contact Editorial Manager, Products and Events, Karla Kozak (karla.kozak@hcpro.com). We look forward to receiving your submission and/or nomination!

Note that all poster applications and awards nominations must be submitted by the end of the year to be considered. We cannot accept any submissions after December 31, 2024.
