Conference Day 1: Reminders for the main conference

Now that the pre-cons are wrapping up, the ACDIS team is preparing to welcome the 2,000+ attendees to the main conference. As you’re preparing for the next two and a half days of fun and CDI education, we have a few reminders for you.

First, make sure to join us in the Exhibit Hall tonight, 5-7 p.m., for the opening night reception. This is a great opportunity to peruse the exhibitor booths and chat with other attendees, speakers, and ACDIS staff. We’re looking forward to kicking things off tonight!

If you haven’t purchased your ticket to the Closing Night Award Reception, there are limited tickets still available. If you want to attend, visit the registration booth by 7:30 p.m. this evening. Tickets are limited, so make sure to purchase your ticket early if you want to attend.

Next, don’t forget to wear your best purple and orange attire tomorrow for CDI pride day. In the past, attendees have sported purple ties and orange shirts, fancy hats, and scarves. We’ll be giving out spirit ribbons and special prizes for those who go above and beyond.

The fun doesn’t end on Day 1. On Day 2, don an item of clothing emblematic of your state and celebrate our local chapters and networking groups with us. Visit the local chapter discussion board in the conference app and the local chapter page on www.acdis.org for your state to stay-up-to-date on what the chapter leaders have planned.
