Member insight: Permanent remote work post-COVID-19
According to a recent ACDIS survey, nearly 70% of CDI programs moved to 100% remote staffing models as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to another 12.66% that were already fully remote. While CDI teams in some areas of the United States have begun to transition their staff back onsite, other organizations have determined that their staff will remain at home.
Given that, according to the 2019 CDI Week Industry Survey, only 11.49% of respondents had fully remote programs, this leaves CDI leaders with a lot of decisions and adjustments to make.
