News: New York health system plots pay-for-performance initiative

CDI Strategies - Volume 7, Issue 2

New York City’s Health and Hospitals Corporation represents the nation’s largest public health system, with more than a million ER visits a year, according to a New York Times article. The plan would make raises, or bonuses of up to $59 million over the next three years, dependent on their performance on quality measures, the Times reports.
