Note from the Director of Programming: The time to apply for the 2022/2023 ACDIS Scholarship is now!

Please help us spread the word that the application period is open for the 2022/2023 ACDIS CDI Scholarship program. The application is open for submissions until November 30, 2022. Launched in 2019, the ACDIS Scholarship Program exists to assist CDI professionals in enhancing their careers with further education and to increase collaboration among their colleagues by sharing knowledge.
In the past, ACDIS has awarded three scholarships each year. This year we are adding a fourth scholarship, named in honor of our friend and colleague Melissa Varnavas, whose untimely passing this year left a hole in the entire ACDIS community. A large part of Melissa’s role was planning the ACDIS National Conference, and her joy and effervescence brought life and light to the event each year. In her memory, ACDIS will now award a conference scholarship each year named after our dear friend.
The four scholarship opportunities this year are:
- Introduction to CDI Scholarship: A one-year ACDIS membership + enrollment in the ACDIS CDI Apprenticeship program
- Professional Development Scholarship: Registration to an online CDI Boot Camp of the recipient's choice
- Outpatient CDI Scholarship: Registration to the ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI
- Melissa Varnavas Scholarship: Registration to the ACDIS national conference
