ACDIS update: Advisory Board application period closes Monday, January 29

The 2018 ACDIS Advisory Board application period closes on Monday, January 29. The ACDIS Advisory Board is responsible for providing leadership, expertise, and an industry voice for the ACDIS members. It is ACDIS’ most prestigious board. Please note that for 2018, ACDIS will be electing the following candidates:

  • Two RN-credentialed candidates
  • One HIM/coding credentialed candidate
  • One MD/physician credentialed candidate

The ACDIS Advisory Board is a multidisciplinary group and we strive to make sure its composition accurately reflects that of our membership.

Candidates must meet the qualifications outlined in the above link, which include but are not limited to possessing the Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) credential. The term of service is three years (April 2018-April 2021).

Applications will be reviewed by a Nominating Committee and all final selections for the ACDIS Advisory Board are made by a popular vote of the ACDIS membership in March. New board members will be announced in early April.

  • Prior speaking or presentation experience
  • Background/qualifications in CDI
  • Previous membership or association experience
  • Reasons why you’re interested in serving
  • One issue affecting the CDI profession and your idea(s) to help address it
