ACDIS update: COVID-19 pandemic necessitates more CDI remote work, weigh in on latest poll

CDI Strategies - Volume 14, Issue 13

Many states have now passed emergency orders sending non-essential employees home to work remotely in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. In light of this, many organizations have sent their CDI teams home as they are not involved in direct patient care.

While many CDI teams have shifted to at least hybrid staffing models (some staff onsite, some remote, or staff rotating on and offsite throughout the week), the pandemic has forced the issue. CDI leaders are adapting to managing remote staff for the first time, balancing productivity with physician engagement and staff communication.

ACDIS wants to serve our members in this trying time and understand the needs of newly remote teams. To take the pulse of the remote work landscape, we’re asking you to answer a quick and easy poll.

In this one-question poll, we’re asking if the CDI staff at your organization is working remotely due to the pandemic and to what extent. This poll will take less than one minute, and we would really appreciate your answers!
