ACDIS update: Express support for proposed COVID-19 codes using an ACDIS template

The ACDIS Regulatory Committee has created templates for CDI and coding professionals’ use to express their support for the new COVID-19 codes, proposed to be adopted on January 1, 2021.
CDI professionals—whether they are ACDIS members or not—are encouraged to download the COVID-19 code letter template and populate it with their organization name and any other relevant comments, using the ACDIS COVID-19 code letter for reference.
After filling out the template, professionals should submit the letter to the specified email address noted in the letter.
