Local chapter update: How to apply for CEUs at your local event!

Everybody knows that CEUs are important, but did you know that you can receive them for local chapter events?
Here are the basic requirements:
- Local chapter leaders must apply at least 30 days prior to the event using the Leadership Request Form
- Training sessions need to be a minimum of one hour in length, excluding opening remarks, breaks, informal discussions. Note: One CEU is provided per hour of instruction
- The topics of training must be CDI-related, such as ICD-10, clinical disease diagnosis, disease process, coding, DRG, reimbursement, etc.
- The application must include speaker bio(s) with credentials, learning objectives, benefits to the attendees, and a timed agenda

- The Maryland ACDIS chapter meets Friday, April 18, 12–1 p.m., via webinar.
