ACDIS update: Read the latest CDI Leadership Council survey findings from 2026!

The ACDIS Leadership Council has been hard at work so far this year! On top of regular meetings, leadership-specific research initiatives, and reading through the member-specific eNewsletter, there are not one but two Council reports highlighting fascinating data findings available on the ACDIS website.

These reports can be downloaded for free and are located on the ACDIS website under the “Free & Sponsored Resources” section of our website.

Here is a brief overview of each report:

• Doing More With Less: AI and Staffing
  
  • This report explored various facets of how the industry is tackling this challenge. Specifically, the survey polled respondents on CDI software use, division of CDI responsibilities, the impact of technology on CDI work, burnout on CDI teams, and current perceptions of staffing levels.
• Telling the Complete CDI Story: Leadership Buy-In and Meaningful Metrics
  
  • This report reviewed the CDI Leadership Council survey, explored the metrics leaders track, the process of sharing that data with stakeholders, the platforms they leverage for data analysis, the ways they assess their staff’s competency, and the expansion plans for their department.
