Local chapter update: Ask us for your chapter rosters

Planning a local chapter event soon? Looking to send out a newsletter? Want to better connect with your local chapter members? ACDIS can help.

If you have information you’d like to send out to your local chapter members, reach out to ACDIS Associate Editor Carolyn Riel (criel@acdis.org) and ask for your local chapter roster.

Local chapter rosters include all the names and contact information of those who have filled out the ACDIS online membership roster and selected your local chapter. Use the contact information to reach out, send newsletters, or inform membership of upcoming events.

The following is a list of upcoming events for ACDIS local chapters. Visit your local chapter’s webpage on the ACDIS site for additional information about upcoming meetings. To join a chapter if you haven’t already or to update your chapter contact information/affiliation, click here.

October:

  • The Maryland ACDIS chapter meets Friday, October 15, via webinar. For information, contact Deb McClain (debmcclain96@gmail.com).
  • The CDI Educators networking group meets Friday, October 22, 1:30-2:30 p.m., for an open forum phone conference. For information, contact Coral Fernandez (coral.fernandez@bhsi.com).
  • The Virginia ACDIS chapter meets Friday, October 22, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., via webinar. For information, contact Denice Shelton (denice_shelton@bshsi.org).
  • The Minnesota ACDIS chapter meeting slated for Wednesday, October 27, 1-2 p.m. , has been canceled. For information, contact Jera Van Damme (jera.vandamme@essentiahealth.org).
  • The Massachusetts ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, October 28, 10-11 a.m., via webinar. The topic is hypercoagulable states presented by Samuel Goldhaber, MD. For information, contact Cynthia Labins (cmlabins@bwh.harvard.edu).

November:

  • The Illinois ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, November 4, 12-1 p.m., via webinar on the topic of severe protein calorie malnutrition from a denial’s perspective. For information, contact Dottie Fanning (dorothy.fanning@aah.org).
  • The Arizona ACDIS chapter meets Friday, November 5, 12-1:15 p.m., via webinar. The topic is CDI and physician education presented by Fran Jurcak. For information, contact Sydni Johnson (sydni.johnson@bannerhealth.com).
