Local chapter update: Celebrating CDI Week

CDI Strategies - Volume 15, Issue 43

We had so many folks reach out to us the end of last week and share how they chose to celebrate CDI Week with colleagues, cooking classes, fun, and games. The ACDIS Local Chapters did not disappoint and did their part in organizing CDI Week fun for their members.

The Georgia chapter collected recipes from members to put together a cookbook. They joined forces with the Illinois chapter to combine into one larger cookbook, a wonderful idea for networking local chapters with each other who might not normally interact.

The Texas chapter held a special CDI Week webinar and posted “Happy CDI Week!” messages on Facebook and LinkedIn encouraging membership sign-up.

The Wisconsin chapter has been putting together spirit wear items that they will be offering to members for purchase, including a fleece jacket, fleece vest, lunch bag, and tote bag. All items will have the Wisconsin ACDIS chapter logo and is just another great way to encourage celebration of the industry.

The Oklahoma chapter sent daily emails to its members with event updates, a state-wide declaration of CDI week from its state legislature, sharing information about national CDI week events, and welcoming volunteers to participate in leadership.

What did your local chapter to do celebrate CDI Week 2021? Let ACDIS Editor Carolyn Riel (criel@acdis.org) know and be sure to send along photos of your celebrations as well!
