Local chapter update: Have fun with your newsletters
Local chapter leaders have many ways to keep their members informed of meetings and chapter updates (you can find some examples in the chapter events list below). Maybe you want to venture into the world of chapter newsletters and event flyers but aren’t sure where to start.
If you see that another local chapter has a newsletter that you like, reach out and ask them how they went about forming their newsletter, or even if they’d be willing to share their template with you.
Take a look at Microsoft Word when you open the program and start a new document, as it offers several templates that can be of use as a starting place for newsletters.
Looking to get a bit more creative? Try searching for online template tools where you can create your own newsletters and flyers. At ACDIS national, we personally love to use Canva for making graphics for the website and social media, and they have some great options for newsletter templates as well.
Don’t be shy, have fun with your newsletters!
