Local chapter update: Join us January 16 for a panel discussion on recruiting, onboarding new volunteers!

If you’re a current volunteer assisting an ACDIS local chapter or networking group in some capacity, we invite you to join members of the Chapter Advisory Committee on Thursday, January 16, 2024, 2-3 p.m. Eastern, for a discussion about recruiting and onboarding new volunteer leaders. 

The panel discussion will be led by ACDIS Associate Editorial Director Linnea Archibald and feature several members of the Chapter Advisory Committee: 

  • Denise Deter from the Arizona chapter
  • Janell Murray from the Indiana chapter
  • Jenny Taylor from the Northwest (Idaho, Washington, and Oregon) chapter

During the call, committee members will be discussing tools and resources available to chapter and networking group volunteers, as well as giving concrete advice on recruiting and onboarding new chapter leaders.

The panel will also include a dedicated time for Q&A.

  • The Kansas City, Missouri ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, February 5, 2–3:30 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “Educating Providers,” presented by Nancy Williams, MD. For information, contact Karen Elmore (karen.elmore@bjc.org).
