Local chapter update: Leadership changes

The turning of the year often means a change in leadership for some local chapter groups. ACDIS annually updates its leadership agreement form with the help of the Chapter Advisory Board. All volunteers must sign the agreement annually by January 30.

Existing volunteer boards shouldn’t wait to think about succession planning; the time is always right to take a bright soul and mentor them on local chapter affairs. Many local chapter leaders have served over multiple years, but local chapters need everyone’s involvement to succeed. Consider stepping forward and helping to share the load. As the saying goes, “many hands make light work” and you just might earn an ACDIS perk or two along the way.

If you have interest in serving on your ACDIS local chapter’s leadership team, reach out to the current leaders to find out what positions are now or might soon be open, what those jobs entail, and what you should do to apply.
