Local chapter update: Newsletters can help connect your membership

CDI Strategies - Volume 15, Issue 49

Newsletters are a great way to keep your local chapter members up-to-date with everything going on, as well as connecting them to each other and to happenings in the larger ACDIS community.

For example, the latest Georgia ACDIS chapter newsletter included a reminder to members about the ACDIS Scholarship application period, as well as a call for recipe submissions. Reminding members of the Scholarship program and larger ACDIS events shows your support for your membership and helps them grow their own careers within CDI.

The Georgia chapter continued the 2021 CDI Week project of compiling a recipe book, and is still looking for submissions from members. This can create a great sense of community, and when the book is distributed allows the local chapter members to get to know each other better.

Does your local chapter use a newsletter to help connect and inform its members? What sort of information are you sharing within that newsletter? Let us know!

The following is a list of upcoming events for ACDIS local chapters. Visit your local chapter’s webpage on the ACDIS site for additional information about upcoming meetings. To join a chapter if you haven’t already or to update your chapter contact information/affiliation, click here.
