Local Chapter Update: Online toolkit offers meeting tips for leaders

CDI Strategies - Volume 10, Issue 17

The online local chapter pages offer a wealth of information for those interested in getting to know CDI professionals from their state. In addition to the upcoming events listed below, you’ll find an actual calendar of events around the country and an interactive map which connects visitors to additional information such as meeting agendas, powerpoint presentations from upcoming or past events, as well as contact information for chapter leadership and in some cases chapter bylaws and other information.

There’s also a wealth of information available to local chapter leaders including the CCDS continuing information application process, local chapter agreement parameters, sample bylaws and vendor policies. For those volunteering to host a meeting or putting together the event agenda there are a host of meeting ideas on the website too.

If there are items you wish ACDIS would add to the leadership toolkit, please let us know! The Chapter Advisory Board will begin meeting in June to review and update existing items so any suggestions are welcome. For additional information, contact Melissa Varnavas, ACDIS associate editorial director, at mvarnavas@acdis.org
