Local chapter update: Plan in advance for spring meetings, submit CEU applications 30 days in advance!

CDI Strategies - Volume 20, Issue 9

As you plan for your spring local chapter and networking group meetings, make sure you factor in time to submit your applications to offer ACDIS CEUs for your educational sessions.

As you plan, here are the basic requirements:

  • Leaders must apply at least 30 days prior to the event using the Leadership Request Form
  • Training sessions need to be a minimum of one hour in length, excluding opening remarks, breaks, informal discussions. Note: One CEU is provided per hour of instruction
  • The topics of training must be CDI-related, such as ICD-10, clinical disease diagnosis, disease process, coding, DRG, reimbursement, etc.
  • The application must include speaker bio(s) with credentials, learning objectives, benefits to the attendees, and a timed agenda
