Local chapter update: Send your newsletters in the PDF format

ACDIS national is always happy to publish chapter newsletters, “save the date” flyers, or other documents to your local chapter or networking group page on the website. However, we do prefer documents saved in PDF format to streamline the process of uploading documents to the ACDIS website and avoid reformatting complications. When possible, avoid sending documents saved in Word format or PowerPoint.

July:

  • The Ohio ACDIS chapter meets Friday, July 16, 12-1 p.m. eastern, via webinar. The topic is the state of the CDI industry presented by Melissa Varnavas. For information, contact Kathryn Vermillion (kathryn.vermillion@ensemblehp.com).

  • The Central Pennsylvania ACDIS chapter meets Friday, July 23, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., via webinar. For information, contact Courtney Spangler (cspangler@gbmc.org).

August:

  • The Oklahoma ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, August 11, 12 p.m., via webinar for a virtual Oklahoma Facility roundtable. The event will be hosted by the chapter leaders Darcy Genisio and Kate Siemens. For information, contact Kate Siemens (mailto:katherine.siemens@mercy.net).
  • The Maryland ACDIS chapter meets Friday, August 20, 12-2 p.m., via webinar. For information, contact Deb McClain (dlmcclain@frederick.health).
  • The Arizona ACDIS chapter meets Saturday, August 21 via webinar with AzHIMA for a virtual coding roundtable. For information, contact Sydni Johnson (sydni.johnson@bannerhealth.com).
  • The Minnesota ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, August 25, 1 p.m., via webinar. For information, contact Jera Van Damme (jera.vandamme@essentiahealth.org). 

September:

  • The Kansas City, Missouri, ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, September 8, 2-3:30 p.m. Details to follow. For information, contact Debra Canova (Debra.Canova@tmcmed.org).

The Maryland ACDIS chapter meets Friday, September 17, virtually for the annual conference. This will be an all-day conference. Final agenda and registration to be announced soon.  For information, contact Deb McClain (dlmcclain@frederick.health). October:
