Local chapter update: Texas chapter “Leadership Summit” recap

The Texas ACDIS chapter held a “Leadership Summit” for its meeting on February 4. The event was exclusively for those working in a managerial, director, or other leadership role in CDI or related fields and featured sessions on “Leadership Linguistics,” with Tu-Quynh Edwards, “Measuring Success” with Kristie Alexander, “Consistent Collaboration with Providers,” with Vanessa Elliott, and “Marketing Insights: 2022,” with Justin Satterfield. The presentations were roughly 40 minutes each for a total of 2.5 hours of continuing education credits. A chat feature within the online platform allowed for ongoing sharing of ideas related to salient points within the presentations and local chapter leadership team members served as session moderators to watch the chat feed and bring forward any questions or comments to the speakers and group. The Texas Chapter modeled their event after ACDIS’ Leadership Council calls and in-person Exchange events which brings forward insight from leaders to elevate program practices.
