Membership update: New resources available for outpatient CDI
Those who visit the ACDIS Forum know just how helpful and generous ACDIS members are with their time and knowledge. Often, when a member posts a resource or example on the Forum, the ACDIS leadership reaches out for permission to share with the wider ACDIS community. This week, that exact situation arose.
People venturing into the great unknown of outpatient CDI are constantly on the lookout for resources and help from those who went before. This week, Valerie Parent, RN, BSN, CCDS, CCRN-K, CDI manager at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, offered up three different outpatient resources on the Forum. When asked, she graciously allowed ACDIS to post all three to the resource library. Here’s what you’ll find:
- An outpatient CDI staff evaluation form
- An outpatient CDI record review tracking tool
- An outpatient CDI monthly tracking tool for showing return on investment
The ACDIS experience so often centers around community and shared experiences. This is just another example.
