Local chapter update: Encourage presenters to apply to speak on the national stage

Have you had a particularly fantastic presenter at one of your recent local chapter meetings? Encourage them to apply to speak at the 2021 ACDIS Annual Conference.

We are extending speaker submissions until October 15, 2020. Speakers are welcome to submit more than one session but must fill out a separate form for each submission. If you are applying to present with a co-speaker(s), please note that you will be required to submit basic info about them during the application. 

Those interested in submitting a proposal will be asked to:

  • Upload information about themselves and co-presenters (if applicable)
  • Draft an agenda and outline for their presentation
  • Create a set of learning objectives for the audience
  • Include a marketing summary/description for the session
  • Submit a draft of the proposed presentation (optional, but recommended)
  • Create a recorded snip-it of your presentation (optional)

While the presentation draft needn’t be polished, it should be on a blank, white, PowerPoint and include as much detail as possible. Note that speakers are responsible for obtaining copyright permission for any imagery and/or quotes used in their presentations and must be cognizant of potential compliance and/or HIPAA conflicts.
