Local chapter update: Keep your members connected
Local chapter leaders do everything they can to keep members connected, especially during these times of social distancing. Many are holding virtual meetings in place of in-person ones, at times opening these events to any local chapter members even those from different states. Still, it can be hard to keep people connected and engaged with one another.
So, bring the fun back into things!
Just because you can’t meet in person, or even if you are having trouble making meetings virtual, there are things you can do to let your members have fun and connect. For example, encourage networking through online or social media contests and hashtags.
For example, create a contest for your local chapter members to share their “work from home” offices from the past year. Create a hashtag, such as #NevadaACDISWorksFromHome and encourage members to use it while sharing on their social platforms. Select random winners to receive an Amazon gift card, be featured in your monthly newsletter, or win another prize.
What about your local chapter? Are you doing anything fun online either through virtual meeting platforms or social media to keep your members engaged and connected?
