Local chapter update: Keep your roster up to date with ACDIS national

Local chapter and networking group rosters are facilitated by ACDIS to give CDI professionals an easy way to join a chapter or group and get an ACDIS national membership discount! This roster also provides local chapter/networking group leaders with the most up-to-date information about their membership and who might have interest in speaking or volunteering. Leaders should encourage their members to fill out the roster form at least yearly and/or whenever their contact information changes!

You can always request an updated roster using the Leadership Request Form. Also, if you notice defunct emails on your list or receive word from previous members that they’d like to be removed from communication, please reach out to ACDIS Associate Editor Jess Fluegel at jess.fluegel@hcpro.com to remove them from future roster lists.

• The Minnesota ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, May 22, 2024, 1–2 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “Building and Reinventing Pediatric CDI Programs,” and will be presented by Joy Bombay, MSN, MHA, RN, CCDS, and Sandra Love, MSN, RN, CCDS, CCDS-O, CPC. • The Wisconsin ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, May 29, 2024, 1–3 p.m., via webinar. The first program is titled, “Spinal Procedures in ICD-10-PCS”, and will be presented by Lynn Kuehn, MS, RHIA, CCS-P, FAHIMA. The second program is titled, “Understanding Burn and Frostbite Injuries: Diagnosis, Management, and Treatment Approaches,” and will be presented by Melissa Kersten, MSN, RN, FNP-BC.
