Note from the Associate Editorial Director: Last call to join the new cohort of CDI Leadership Council members!

It’s hard to believe August is coming to a close this weekend and with it, the close of the 2025/2025 ACDIS CDI Leadership Council application period. If you’ve been meaning to apply for the upcoming term, this is your last call before applications close on August 31, and the new term begins in September. By joining the ACDIS CDI Leadership Council, members are granted access to the following features:

• Research insights through Council-only and ACDIS-wide surveys.
• Virtual network building through exclusive members-only bimonthly panel discussions (and additional physician advisor-focused calls), small-group matchmaking opportunities (including Council-exclusive mentorships and book clubs!), and access to a Council-only Forum thread.
• Custom experiences and exclusive invitations to opportunities tailored to Council members' areas of interest and expertise, such as the annual CDI Leadership Exchange and Mastermind groups.

There’s no fee to join the Council and you do not need to be a member of ACDIS either. There is also no restriction to the number of consecutive years an individual serves on the Council (provided they continue to meet the eligibility and participation requirements) and we do not cap the number of individuals from a single organization, so if you’re applying, please feel free to share the application with your leadership peers.
