Note from the Associate Editor: Share your query and provider education expertise in the CDI Journal!
As the trees lose their leaves and temperature drops, ACDIS has plenty in store for the rest of this year. But 2027 is right around the corner! If you haven’t started brainstorming your new year’s resolutions, look no further than contributing to the January/February edition of the CDI Journal!
Despite 2026 not being over just yet, we are already accepting submissions for the January/February edition on “Query Practices and Provider Education.” The deadline for article submissions is December 1, 2026. We’d love to receive submissions about your query practices, provider education, or other CDI expertise, so click here to submit an article!
And, if you’re interested in planning even further, the 2027 CDI Journal topics with their associated deadlines are as follows:
- January/February: Query Practices and Provider Education
- Deadline: December 1, 2026
- March/April: Clinical and Coding
- Deadline: February 1, 2027

If this is not already rewarding enough, articles selected for publication in the CDI Journal will be awarded ACDIS CEUs on a 0.5 CEUs per 350 published words basis. Articles tend to be within the range of 750-1,500 words.
