Cindi Stefl, RN, BSN, CCDS, donated these six sample questions that CDI managers may wish to ask potential new hires during the interview procss. The questions are intended to prompt dialogue about an individual candidate's clinical acumen and the role of the CDI specialist. Note, however, that answers to these questions are not provided as these are intended as a sample only and each facility should develop their own hiring processes.
