ACDIS update: ACDIS office closed for Thanksgiving, November 28-29

CDI Strategies - Volume 13, Issue 53

To celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday next week, the ACDIS offices will be closed starting on Thursday, November 28, and will reopen on Monday, December 3. As a result, there won’t be an issue of CDI Strategies next week either.

To tide you over until we’re back from the break, here are a few “helpful” Thanksgiving codes that may come in handy for your celebration:

  • W61.4: Contact with turkey (beware of defensive turkeys this time of year)
  • Y93.61: Activity, American tackle football (for post-dinner athletic incidents)
  • Z63.1: Problems in relationship with in-laws (ah the holidays, the perfect time for family tensions)
  • W29.0: Contact with powered kitchen appliance (too many cooks in the kitchen)
  • W60: Contact with nonvenomous plant thorns, spines, and sharp leaves (be careful when jumping into leaf piles)
  • V84.6: Passenger of special agricultural vehicle injured in nontraffic accident (hayride gone wrong)
  • W52: Crushed, pushed, or stepped on by crowd or human stampede (maybe shop Cyber Monday instead of Black Friday and avoid this possibility)

We hope that you’ll enjoy a joyful holiday with family and loved ones! Today, and always, we’re thankful for you! Happy Thanksgiving!
