CDI Strategies - Volume 15, Issue 9

The ACDIS Regulatory Committee recently posted its hot topic for February, which is focused on a revision to the Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting related to Glasgow Coma Scale coding. Head to the “Regulatory Committee Insight” page (found under “Thought Leadership” in the ACDIS website menu) for a full explanation and recommendations related to this topic.

The ACDIS Regulatory Committee exists to review regulatory policy, coding, and clinical updates, comment to agencies on behalf of ACDIS, and provide summary, interpretation, and analysis to ACDIS members.

Note any advice or findings represent the conclusions and opinions from the Regulatory Committee. The advice and guidance do not replace or supersede any direction or guidelines set forth by your organization, facility, or the Cooperating Parties. Consult your organization’s leadership and/or administration before implementing changes that may conflict with your organizational standards.

Please feel free to reach out to any members of the Regulatory Committee with questions, concerns, or comments. A complete list of all the 2021 Regulatory Committee members can be found on the “Boards & Committees” page.
