ACDIS update: Bring your holiday CDI concerns to the ACDIS Forum
December 14, 2017
CDI Strategies - Volume 11, Issue 57
Ah, the holidays. It’s a busy time for people personally, but it can also be a hectic work time. With folks off on vacations spending time with family and friends, CDI professionals may be faced with increasing workloads and additional (hopefully temporary) duties. Should you run into any holidays quandaries, ACDIS suggests taking them to the ACDIS Forum for answers from your peers.
Plus, while you’re there, you may find that you’ll be able to respond to someone else’s inquiry. Asking and answering questions on the ACDIS Forum can be a great way to build connections with others in CDI, nationwide.
There are a number of great conversations happening right now. Here are just a few to jump into now:
- Lend your opinion to a discussion about capturing SOI/ROM for risk adjustment
- Discuss outpatient expansion in facilities not falling under risk adjustment
- Join the conversation about balancing productivity metrics with CDI staff engagement
- Share your thoughts on coding acute renal failure with values within normal limits
- Add your thoughts to the documentation of septicemia
- Converse about clinical and coding criteria related to acute pulmonary insufficiency
- Join in on the discussion about coding prenatal tobacco smoke exposure
