ACDIS update: CDI Week 2018 theme chosen

Over the past week, ACDIS asked its members to choose a theme for CDI Week 2018. Every year, facilities nationwide celebrate the efforts of their CDI programs for one week in September. This year’s event takes place September 17-21. To help facilitate the fun, ACDIS chooses an annual theme.

While this year’s festivities will focus on celebrating the diversity represented in the CDI profession, there were a few options for the theme:

CDI superheroes (origin stories)
CDI circus (under the big tent)
CDI sports teams (on the same playing field)
CDI mosaic (creating a collaborative portrait)

After a week of racing neck-and-neck, the CDI Week 2018 theme has been chosen! This year’s theme will be “CDI Mosaic: Creating a Collaborative Portrait!”

While the ACDIS team will busily plan for CDI Week 2018 using the chosen theme, we encourage you to do the same. Tell us your plans and let us know how you plan to use the theme and share your favorite CDI Week activity by emailing ACDIS Editor Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org).
